After a series of countless leaks, the team at Microsoft has finally decided to officially announce Xbox Series S — a disc-less, digital only edition of Xbox Series X, which also happens to be the smallest Xbox in history.
That’s right, Xbox Series S will be the most travel-friendly console the tech giant has ever produced, as it will be smaller than the first Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. According to Microsoft, “XSS” will be priced at $299, so it should be an interesting alternative for players who have no strong feelings toward psychical media.

As a friendly reminder, PlayStation 5 will also be sold in two forms: a standard version and a digital edition.
Considering that both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will hit stores in less than two months, it’s safe to say that Microsoft will reveal new details about their features in the near future — maybe even later this month.
