Kanye West is coming back to his hometown of Chicago to host another Sunday Service experience during All-Star Weekend.
West tweeted, “Sunday Service Experience Credit Union 1 Arena, Chicago Sunday February 16th 2pm,” with a direct link to purchase the tickets from Ticketmaster.
The Jesus Is Born rapper has been on a state to state tour with his gospel choir.
After hearing about the untimely death of Kobe Bryant, West held an impromptu midnight Sunday Service. West has been a longtime fan of Bryant and even attended his final game back in 2016.
West was joined by Grammy-award winning gospel artist Kirk Franklin and fellow Chicago native Chance The Rapper to pay their respects to the late NBA legend. West honored Bryant with a freestyle saying, “I was driving home / They was leaving your jersey on the freeway, and I just broke down, broke down, broke down.”
Prior to the service, Kanye paid his respects to Bryant on Twitter.
“Kobe, We love you brother,” he wrote. “We’re praying for your family and appreciate the life you’ve lived and all the inspiration you gave.”
The “Follow God” Rapper also held a Sunday Service in Miami the same weekend the city hosted the Super Bowl.
West and Joel Osteen are teaming up for what could be the biggest Sunday Service yet. The two are set to host “An Evening with Joel & Victoria Osteen featuring Kanye West & the Sunday Service Choir” at the Yankee Stadium on May 2.
“The remarkable music talent and excitement that Kanye and the choir brought to Lakewood was fantastic. To see people from all walks of life and all different backgrounds coming to worship together was truly a night to remember,” said Osteen. “Victoria and I are so excited to bring this event to the iconic Yankee Stadium. I believe everyone who attends will be truly inspired and filled with an expectation that their best days are yet to come.”
The tickets for this Sunday’s (Feb. 16) service are completely sold out.
